Camelback Mountain Shuttle Considered

Phoenix may seek out a shuttle company to ferry hikers to and from Camelback Mountain to ease parking congestion at the site.

A shuttle-contract proposal is just one of several recommendations Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department board members may consider approving today. Other suggestions include expanding nearby parking lots and working with Arizona State University students to create a plan to preserve the ecological health of the mountain.
